Building Update - May

New faciaWith the school now standing on its own bricks and mortar, the builders are working hard constructing the internal walls, installing hundreds of metres of cabling and making the outside colourful with red, cream and teal cladding.

The plaster is drying out on the internal walls and already the rooms are bright and airy.  The high sloping ceilings create a sense of space and each classroom has a wall of glass which lets in plenty of natural light.

The main corridor also has plasterboard walls and you can see the difference from just a month ago:

Before - April                                                                   After - May

All the classrooms have a veranda, which covers the length of the building, this will be more apparent when the scaffolding is removed.

The rear of the building, which includes the main hall, will overlook a very large grass area, with views of Bourne Abbey Church above the trees.
