Parent Questionnaire

January 2020:

As part of our determination to continue to provide excellent education and service to our pupils and families, we would like to thank many of our parents/carers for completing our recent parent/carer questionnaire. We value your positive feedback on our school and suggestions as to how we can improve our provision. We are committed to working in partnership with parents/carers and therefore we take on board and act on any reasonable concerns in order to make the necessary improvements. We wish to support our families and we endeavour always to try to ensure that our pupils love coming to school, feel valued as individuals, reach their full potential and achieve their personal greatness/success.

We would also like to thank you for the many very positive comments you made on your response forms which include:

  • ‘My daughter absolutely loves school and enjoys going in every day.  They understand her and respect her and when you walk around school you can tell what a fantastic environment it is for our children, their learning and development.’
  • ‘My child is very happy at this school and she loves her teachers. Everyday coming home and telling us what new things they teach her.’
  • ‘My child enjoys the homework set, often talks about learning and is encouraged by house points. My child is enthusiastic and keen to feedback on subject matters.’
  • ‘Curriculum is enhancing my child’s ability and personality and making him a very kind human being. I am happy with support and love given by this school.’
  • ‘School has helped develop his confidence, language and skills. This is the best school I have seen.’
  • ‘I can’t fault the school at all and I am proud my children are part of such a lovely school.’
  • ‘Keep up the amazing work, my children continue to thrive and love going to school.  I can’t thank you all enough. We are a very lucky community.’
  • ‘I absolutely love this school, it is like a family and despite the challenges life throws at us, the staff have so much care and compassion to the pupils and their families.’
  • ‘I feel the topics are good and very engaging.  The homework works very well and helps the children organise their time. My child has exceeded while being at this school.  I am very happy with the curriculum.’

However, we have also recognised that some parents/carers indicated that they disagreed with a statement. This is particularly important, as we want you all to know that we will address the concerns you have raised.

We will give parents/carers further regular opportunity for feedback in the future, but can I please ask you to let us know immediately if you have any concerns on any matters. If we know about concerns straight away we can work together to resolve them as quickly as possible.

If you have any comments please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours sincerely

Mrs S J Moore
